Caumpedene states that she was taken by Worstead's order, and Olney's procurement and taken to the prison of the abbot at Westminster and wrongly imprisoned her. Fearing that she would complain they imprisoned her in worse conditions, and when she was released she had no redress. She requests remedy for the trespass.

Concerning the bailiffs of magnates the king is to provide.She should have a writ of imprisonment.

The petition makes reference to Caumpedene being imprisoned on the Thursday before the feast of the Annunciation in the 15th year of the reign [of Edward I] (1287), and it seems unlikely that she would have waited for too long to complain of her wrongful imprisonment.
