Nature of request
Copy of a writ of Richard II ordering Penros and his other justices before whom an assize of novel disseisin was arraigned by Carmenowe against Sergeux concerning diverse manors in Devon and Cornwall to hold an inquisition concerning matters raised in a petition exhibited at the last parliament and return it into Chancery.
Nature of endorsement
By virtue of this command at present nothing has been done because the commission for the taking of this assize of which the writ makes mention has been revoked and another issued to other justices.
