Cary states that Thomas Cary, clerk granted to the petitioner's father land and rent in Houndstone and Chestermede to hold for his life with remainder to his heirs begotten from his body and he was seised until the lands were seized into the king's hand by judgement rendered against him that the lands were forfeit in the parliament held at Westminster in the week of Purification in the king's 11th year. Cary states that his father is now dead and requests that the king order his letters of the privy seal to the chancellor and make restitution to Cary of the lands, rents and services as law and reason demand.
