Nature of request
The petitioners show that Ferete held land of them in Salkeld, and it was found by an inquisition that he was an ally of the king's enemies by which the land escheated to the king. The petitioners request that the king have consideration for the damage they have suffered and grant them the land.
Nature of endorsement
1) It is to be inquired of the value of the land, and the manner of the escheat, and afterwards the king will do his will.2) Coram rege et magno consilio.
