Note (Additional information about the record)
- Datable from internal evidence to the period between the death of Robert de Vere, earl of Oxford (1331) and the death of Edward III (1377). Although this has to be after 1331 (so that the dating to c. 1327 on the guard is certainly wrong), the guard is probably right in dating this to the earlier part of Edward III's reign.
