Nature of request
Copy of a writ of Edward II reciting that Edward I had received a sum of money from the abbess and convent for which they were to be satisfied as soon as was convenient. The king granted 100 librates of land or rent to the abbess and convent at the request of the earl of Gloucester. Ordering the keepers to deliver to the abbess and convent 100 librates of land or rent per annum by a reasonable extent.
