- Busse requests remedy in his dispute over the office of prior of Montacute. He has been appointed by the pope, but Caprarii has entered the office at the gift of the abbot of Cluny.
- Nature of endorsement
- Because the prohibition ought not to apply except to the time before which the king has cognisance, he should have a writ for all that he should wish. Notwithstanding the prohibition he should be able to sue in court Christian where he wishes of all things that touch the [spiritualities] . . . that nothing be attempted or done concerning the temporalities in prejudice of the king.
