Nature of request
Byncestre states that he was given lands and tenements in Scotland by the king of Scotland. The king and the king of Scotland made an agreement whereby the king of Scotland granted £2,000 of land to the king though all earlier grants were to be respected. However, the king granted the same land to Eynesford. He requests that the king annul the grant so that Byncestre is able to enjoy his land.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the justice and the chamberlain of Berwick that when they have heard Byncestre's complaint and summoned Eynesford and heard their arguments and viewed their commissions, they are to do justice to them notwithstanding charters or other things made and sealed under the seal of England or Scotland.
