Nature of request
1) Fitz Ralph states that he lost his goods and chattels at sea to the men of Flanders and had judgement upon the men from the king's father. He requests that execution be made to him upon the process in Chancery so that he is not delayed further from his goods and chattels.2) Similar petition by the same petitioner.
Nature of endorsement
Let the rolls of Chancery be searched for the 16th year of the reign of the king's father for the treaty made between the king and the count of Flanders, and the king summons those of his council to make a suitable remedy for the merchants.

The endorsement of this petition is quoted in SC 8/97/4830 as being that given to a petition presented by the petitioner to the parliament held on the morrow of St Catherine, 4 Edward III (1330).
