Nature of request
The abbot requests that the keeper of lands and franchises of the earl in Leicestershire be ordered to allow them to have their right for the earl would not allow them to hold their leet which they have in Marmyonnesse in West Langton or make distraints or collect arrears of rent.

The chancellor in Chancery is to assign certain justices to enquire of the truth of the matters contained in the petition. Once the inquisition is made and returned into Chancery let what needs to be done be done.
