Burgh states that he is indicted before Courtenay and his companions, justices of Trailbaston for the death of Doulaton, and has been outlawed. He does not have any power to reverse this, and requests a pardon of the outlawry by charter, and he will stand to the common law.
Nature of endorsement
Because the king is not losing chattels or escheats, nor will any other lord, Burgh should have a pardon of the outlawry by the grace of the king on condition that he surrender himself to the prison in the county where he was outlawed, and stand to right if the king or other wish to sue against him.
