Nature of request
Burcestre states that he is owed certain sums borrowed from him by Edward II and III. He requests that the king order that an allowance be made to him and Blondell in the next customs of wool when they go overseas, and that they can have a writ to the customers of London on this.
Nature of endorsement
Concerning the money borrowed by Edward III let it be ordered that allowance be made to Burcestre and Blondell in their customs of wool as demanded in the petition. And concerning the sum taken by Edward II it is to be postponed by the necessity of the king in right of his Household.
