Nature of request
Bukyngham shows that he was ousted from his church by Neusom with the assistance of the esquires of Ferrers' household of which he is part, and have prevented him obtaining legal address by false indictments of robbery and rebellion. He requests a suitable remedy.
Nature of endorsement
Concerning the taking of his goods he should have a writ of trespass, and bond by which he was indicted he should have a writ of conspiracy.Concerning the lay force used in the church he is to have notice of the bishop, and afterwards to have writ to the sheriff to remove the power from the church.

Note
Probably dating to 1331 when there was a commission of oyer and terminer into Bukyngham's complaint that Neusom and others had broken a close of his at Nailstone in Leicestershire (CPR 1330-4, p.129). This was evidently part of the ongoing dispute between Bukyngham and Neusom, and may have precipitated the ejection of Bukyngham from his church.
