Nature of request
Brunelesk states that he lent to Edward I a certain sum in aid of his Scottish war to be paid at certain times from the wool customs as appears by letters of the king of the collectors of the custom under the cocket. He requests that it be allowed against money owed to the king by a fine for wool exported against the charter of the staple, and for a pardon of the same.

He should come before the treasurer and barons and show what he has of the debt, and let the king be certified, and the king will give his will.
