Nature of request
Brun that the bailiwick of the sergeanty of Connaught was given to him by Edward I for the term of his life. And afterward the death of the kings the justiciar of Ireland took the same into the king's hand because Brun had not promptly shown his evidence for his holding the bailiwick and kept him out. He requests remedy and grace.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the justiciar that he certify the king on the contents of the petition.
