Nature of request
Briggenorth states that Turvey, by a false claim at court, purchased a presentment to the church of Rhosfair, by which the bishop ordered an inquisition, which found that the church was occupied. Turveye then presented a resignation under the seal of the dean, whose seal he had because he was dean at that time, informing the inquisition that Briggenorth had resigned the church unconditionally, though Briggenorth has no knowledge of this to his great damage. He requests remedy.
