Nature of request
Bruere requests requests remedy and that Convers be examined before the council concerning an arrest which was made on her husband in Ireland which the late king ordered when Convers took sacks of wool and money from him which was not to the king's profit and was to Bruere's damage. The other goods of the merchants of France taken at the same time are now in demand before the judges of the king of France concerning which they wish Bruere and her men who were there to certify them.
Nature of endorsement
Convers was questioned and said nothing was received from the goods. Therefore it is ordered to the justice that the treasurer and barons of the Dublin Exchequer should enquire into whose hand the goods came and they should certify the treasurer and barons of the English Exchequer of this.
