Nature of request
Talbot states that his predecessors have had housebote and haybote and reasonable estovers of firewood in his manor of Ludstone in the king's forest pertaining to the manor from time out of memory. Talbot is disturbed of his right by the foresters and requests remedy.
Nature of endorsement
Let writs be sent to the keeper of the forest or his deputy that they suffer the dean to take the housebote and haybote according to his and his predecessors use, or certain people be assigned to enquire of this matter more fully and certify the king in his Chancery.
