Nature of request
Brian states that Hugh Horne granted lands in Barton upon Humber to Robert Brian and his wife and the heirs of their bodies. The land eventually descended to William Brian as heir, and was seized into the hand of the king by his outlawry. Brian requests that a suitable remedy be ordained for him as son and heir entail of William Brian.

Dated on the dorse to? 1376 with reference to SC 8/91/4512 and SC 8/91/4513. The attribution is not secure, though the lands had certainly forfeited by 18 November 1376 when they were granted to one William Rattescroft (CPR 1374-7, p.385).
