Nature of request
Brehull requests restitution of the bailiwick of the woodward of Arllechwedd Isaf near Conway which Edward II granted him for his life from which bailiwick he was wrongly ousted in the fifteenth year of Edward II's reign because Brehull supported Damory in the earl of Lancaster's quarrel, and it is still kept from him against the tenor of the charter.
Nature of endorsement
Let this petition be ordered into Chancery and the chancellor is to advise himself of the cause of the taking of the bailiwick into the hand of the king. And if it was taken because of the quarrel and not for any other reason let the bailiwick be restored with the issues and arrears whereof the king is not served.
