Brehouse complains of Roucestre and Hoyland that in the last eyre of Suffolk he was taken and imprisoned, and they did not wish to deliver him for less than £100 nor to grant him mainprise. Afterwards he was released by the mainprise of 12 knights to be before them in twenty days when he came to acquit his mainpernors. And they said go free without saying anything else about the imprisonment to the injury of the same Brehouse of £1,000.
