Nature of request
Brandon and the freeholders of Lymbergh, Nottingham and Causton were prosecuted in the Exchequer of a contract made between all the great council of the king and them. And afterwards Lymbergh, Nottingham and others were prosecuted of the same thing in the Exchequer by process made against them pending for two years, and were rightfully discharged by judgement in the Exchequer and by deliberations of the chancellor, treasurer and others of the king's council. Brandon requests that the king and his council ordain that the complainants are henceforth discharged and not prosecuted since they have been acquitted by great deliberation and high judgement.
