Nature of request
Beaubraz shows that he leased to Audley and his companions a carucate of land in Thornbury and Alveston for his life for a certain render per annum. This land, like Audeley's other land has been taken into the king's hand and he has not been paid his render. He requests remedy.

Alweston (Alveston), [Gloucestershire].
People mentioned

Hugh Daudeleye (D'Audeley)
Note
The petition probably dates to 1322 for the writ to the keeper of the manors finally settling Beaubraz's claim was issued on 21 July, though an inquisition had been held before the writ was issued, so it is possible that the petition dates to 1321 (CCR 1318-23, pp.582-3).
