Box requests that a remedy be ordained for him since he holds certain tenements of the king in chief in Hull for a rent of £4 per annum and the cellars of several of these properties have been occupied with timber for the king's pale, and with the king's wine from Berwick but he has not been paid the rent for these.

Let it be ordered to the treasurer and barons that they call before them those that are to be called and do justice.

Dated on the guard to c. 1343 on the basis of internal references to various dates between the regnal years 10 and 15 (?Edward III). The handwriting would seem to fit such a date.
