Nature of request
Bakere states that the king took by his ministers to his use various goods when he was prince and in the first and third years of his reign for four tallies. The Bakeres sued the king for 6 years and more to be paid, and still have not been paid whereof they have sold all that they have. Bakere is now impoverished and a beggar and does not have anything to live on nor to acquit her pledges if she is not paid. She requests payment is made to her.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the treasurer, barons and chamberlains of the Exchequer that they view the account of the keeper of the Wardrobe, and if they find that the king was served of the things contained in the petition and the debt is still due then they are to make payment or assignment.

The petition refers back to the time before Edward II was king, and was still prince, and cannot realistically have been submitted long after Edward III came to the throne, probably 1327.
