Nature of request
Quicham states that Edward II took in his seventh year diverse muttons as appears by a bill under the seal of Northwell and the account of Warley. He requests that the king order payment in relief of the estate of the hospital which is destroyed by the Scottish war.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the treasurer, barons and chamberlains of the Exchequer that they view the bill and the account of the Wardrober, if they find that the muttons were taken to the profit of the king, and the debt is still due, that then they are to make payment or charged to some suitable assignment.
