Nature of request
He shows that he leased land while he was within age, and when he was of full age he brought a writ in the last eyre in Kent against Savage who put in a quitclaim which he alleged Borestalle had made which Borestalle denied. The sheriff was ordered to bring the witnesses and other good men. The sheriff answered that he could find few living and passed the inquisition against Borestalle. He has found that many of the witnesses are living and requests remedy that he does not lose by the false return of the sheriff, and he has caused the record and process to be brought into King's Bench but he is not able to have issue as it is continually adjourned and he doesn't want to lose his suit.

He should have a writ to the justices of the king that they should proceed in the record according to law and custom. If he wishes he should prosecute a writ of deception against the sheriff.
