Nature of request
Bordon states that the king granted to her by his charter for her maintenances for her life 10 marks of land in his manor of Polesworth. Bordon was ousted from the land by Walter de Bordon, to whom the king has granted the manor for his life. Bordon requests a remedy be ordained so that she is not ousted.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered by a writ under the great seal to the chancellor of Scotland that he should hear the complaint of Agnes de Bordon of the wrong contained in the petition, and examine her charter, and do hasty and complete justice.
