Bordesden states that whereas Gower before Doncaster and his companions recovered against him and many other disseisors diverse lands and tenements in Amotherby by an assize of novel disseisin and his damages of £20. The sheriff by Gower's malicious procurement distrained him to pay the entire damages. Bordesden requests that the damages be levied from the other disseisors.
