Nature of request
Boilton shows that, by a commission of the Exchequer, a livery had been made to him of the bailiwick of Blackburn wapentake to make summonses, attachments and distresses for a certain render to be made at the Exchequer. There came Nicholas de Holden by the procurement of his brother, with the support of Despenser and he was ousted from his bailiwick to his damage. He requests restitution of his bailiwick, and remedy for his loss.

He is to show his commission in Chancery, and let this petition be ordered by a writ to the justices in King's Bench that they call before them those who are to be called, and hear the reasons, and do right.
