- The wife states that her husband was sumpter of armour and valet of the Chamber of Edward I, and he was due 8 marks for which she has a bill, and was usher of the hall, but died in Scotland in the last defeat. She requests that the king grant her a position or make sustenance for her and her child, she not having any manner of goods or chattels to sustain them.
