Nature of request
Bisshop requests that the justices be ordered to proceed to his delivery according to the law having regard for the fact that he under age. He was imprisoned in Wallingford castle by the treason and deceit of Beche and his associates, he not knowing their plans, and was prevented from leaving and was imprisoned not having borne arms against the king or his people.
Nature of endorsement
He should have a writ to the justices assigned to do this that they proceed to his delivery according to the law and usage of the realm.

Note
The petition may date to c. 1321 as an Edmund de la Beche was pardoned his actions against the Despensers in 1321, and this may be the treason that the petition refers to (CPR 1321-4, p.16). However, the guard comments suggest that this may not be the correct identification, as Beche flourished in the period 1330-40. There is nothing otherwise to date this more precisely.
