Nature of request
Bingham states that he holds from the king in chief a messuage with appurtenances in Nottingham for a certain service, and certain tenants held these tenements from Bingham for a rent. Then came the friars and bought the messuage and entered the fee against Bingham's will and the statute of Mortmain by which he had lost his rent. He requests remedy.
