- The abbot shows that the Jews when they in England held of him in chief in a suburb of Bristol a piece of land for a graveyard rendering to him a certain rent per annum. After the Jews had been driven out of England there came the constable of Bristol and took the land into the king's hand as an escheat to the disinheritance of the abbot. He requests a remedy.
