- The counties request remedy against the grooms of the king's horses, who for four years, have charged the counties and particularly the manors of the clergy with many burdens for the provision of victuals. Such men cannot be arrested because of their menaces and assaults, and cannot be indicted because no-one knows their names. They pay less than half the true value of the goods taken from the money they receive from the Exchequer, and they occupy abbeys and priories under intimidation. The counties request remedy.
