- The prior shows that he has been and still is grievously amerced in the tourn of the sheriff of Surrey at the lawday at Lambeth, and has been distrained for the amercement because of the repair of the bridge and the foundations of the banks in Hasarddesmerch on the highway from London to Croydon though neither the prior nor his predecessors had any lands, meadows or pastures there nor made repairs. The prior requests a final remedy.
