Nature of request
The community of Bedfordshire state that although John de Everesdon, Robert de Maddingle and Roger de Belers were appointed to inquire into sheriffs and their bailiffs in their county, and John de Everesdon came one day and received several bills from them, nothing has been done, with the result that the sheriffs have continued to harass those who presented the bills. They request grace and a remedy.
