Nature of request
Thomas de Beaufou and Roger his brother state that their father, Roger de Beaufou, purchased from the Prior of St Frideswide in Oxford certain lands in Worminghall in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, for the term of life of Roger and his sons, but that after his death they were disseised of this, while they were under age, by collusion between their guardian and the Prior, who then conspired to bring a writ of novel disseisin which went against them, and an attaint which confirmed the verdict of the assize. They request a remedy.
