Nature of request
The people of Bamburgh, who have been completely ruined by the Scottish wars for the last twelve years, and are now destroyed again, ask that they might be pardoned the 26 marks for their farm for the last Easter term.
Nature of endorsement
They are to have respite until the feast of Michaelmas a year from now, of the king's grace.

CCR 1327-30 p.387 is dated at Northampton, 14 May 1328, and is clearly in response to this petition. Northumberland Petitions p.192 (no. 168) does not seem to be aware of this reference, and dates the petition to 1327.
