Nature of request
The people of Bamburgh ask to be pardoned the 26 marks that they owe for the farm of their town for the last Easter term, and also that they might be pardoned the farm for the next Easter term, as they have been burnt and destroyed by the Scottish war for the last twenty years, and are now completely ruined again: and they cannot afford to pay.

They are to be pardoned the 26 marks due for the last Easter term; and for the future, nothing.

Note
CCR 1333-7 p.70 is dated at Newcastle upon Tyne, 3 August 1333. This seems to be in answer to this petition, but Northumberland Petitions pp.198-9 (no. 176) is more cautious, dating this petition only to '? 1333'.
