Dated on the guard to c. 1317, with reference to CPR 1317-21 p.31, which is dated at York, 20 September 1317.CCR 1313-8 pp.496-7, dated at York, 9 September 1317, is an order to make the petitioner a larger assignment for expenses on Cockermouth castle. It also mentions his wardship of John de Wyggeton's lands as being in the past. This petition may concern a different debt altogether, or it may be requesting the payment of the last of the earlier sum.
