Nature of request
John de Abyndon states that he recovered 1600 marks by a judgment on a writ of conspiracy before Roger Brabancon and his companions, against Robert de Armenters and Stephen his brother, and a writ was sent to the Sheriffs of London to imprison them, they afterwards released them, by an agreement between them and Edmund Maulay. He requests a remedy.
Nature of endorsement
Roger Brabancon and his companions etc., are to be ordered by writ that, when they have summoned the aforesaid John, Robert and Hugh before them, and heard their arguments, they are to do justice on the contents of the petition.

CCR 1313-18 p.43 is dated at Westminster, 13 March 1314, and according to the List of Sheriffs, Hugh de Gerton and Robert Burdeyn were sheriffs between Michaelmas 1313 and Michaelmas 1314. SC 8/2/88, which requests a pardon for Robert de Armenters, for a trespass against John de Abyndon, on account of his service at Bannockburn, must be later.
