Alan Armore and Alan atte Wharf request payment for fish bought from them in London for the use of the late king, as is attested by a bill sealed with the seal of John de Okham, Keeper of the late king's wardrobe.
Nature of endorsement
The Treasurer, Barons and Chamberlains of the Exchequer are to be ordered that, when they have seen the bill, if they find that the said fish came to the king's use, and that the debt is still due, then they are to let them have payment or suitable assignment as soon as they conveniently can, receiving etc. and charging etc.
