Emma de Arneburth complains that Richard, Prior of Ware and other malefactors broke into her husband's house at Moggerhanger by night, stole his goods, beat and ill-treated him, and took him away bound, so that she does not know where he is, or if he is alive or dead. She requests a remedy, as she is not powerful enough to sue these people.
