Nature of request
The villeins of Ardudwy in Snowdonia request that they might hold the lands which are 'of the extent', belonging to their lands of the same commote, for the accustomed farm, because it is difficult for them to hold their lands without these ones.
Nature of endorsement
The Justiciar or his lieutenant is to be ordered to inform himself of the matters contained in this petition, and to what damage or prejudice etc. and he is to inform etc.
