Robert Aguylun states that he was given the wardship of Ralph, son and heir of Richard de Plaiz by Henry III, and with it the keeping of Castle Montfitchet in London, which has been attacked and its walls demolished by people of the Archbishop of Canterbury. He requests a remedy, so that the heir is not kept from his inheritance.

Ralph [de Plaiz], son and heir of Richard de Plaiz

[Robert Kilwardby], Archbishop of Canterbury
Note
Dated on the guard to c. 1275, with reference to an Inquisition post mortem Ed. I 10/8 (CIPM, vol. II::no.130). This states that Ralph de Plaiz was nine years old on 12 March 1275. The site appears to have been sold to the Archbishop of Canterbury in 1275 (CPR 1272-81, p.98), an event possibly connected to the petition, but it was later returned to the king and in 1278 the whole area was granted to the Blackfriars (CChR 1257-1300, 211; Harben, Dictionary of London, pp.424-5).
