Nature of request
A copy of an extract from King's Bench roll 37, Trinity term, 14 Edward IV, containing a writ from Edward IV to the Sheriff of Cornwall, instructing him to proclaim in his county town that Henry Bodrugan and Richard Bonethone are to appear in person before the King's Bench on 11 July following, to answer to Thomas Nevyll for various felonies and other offences contained in his petition to the commons of parliament, and to do and receive as the court adjudges, with an endorsement from the Sheriff that he had done as he was instructed, and that on 11 July Thomas Nevyll appeared, but Henry Bodrugan and Richard Bonethone did not: and that they are therefore convicted and attainted of these felonies.

The writ in this document is dated at Westminster, 22 June, 14 Edward IV (1474), and the endorsement states that it was served on 25 June in that year, and that proclamation was made on 30 June, for Henry and Richard to appear on 11 July. The whole is headed as being from Trinity term, 14 Edward IV.
