Nature of request
John Manyngham, knight, formerly of Old Ford, who was wrongly indicted, outlawed and attainted of certain insurrections, rebellions, treasons, felonies, murders and other offences, of which he was not guilty, asks the king to ordain, by authority of parliament, that this indictment, outlawry and attainder might be annulled, and John and his heirs able to have, enjoy and inherit all the lands, tenements, rents, services, and other possessions, which would have been theirs if it had never been, and to sue all manner of actions, and to enter his possessions, immediately after the Annunciation, 1475, without making further suit for them, and that all gifts and grants made by the king's letters patent of his possessions be annulled - but that no-one should be chargeable to John or his heirs for any issues or profits taken from them before 23 January, 14 Edward IV.

This petition, and the attached schedule, is enrolled on the roll of the parliament summoned at Westminster in October 1472 (12 Edward IV) and prorogued a number of times until January 1475 (Rot. Parl. vol. VI, pp.129b-130a).Rot. Parl. vol. VI, p.129b states that it was presented on 23 January, 14 Edward IV (1475).
