Nature of request
John, Duke of Norfolk asks the king to permit him, by authority of parliament, to lease various manors to the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Earl of Essex, Robert Wyngefeld, Richard Suthewell, and Robert Tymperley, and James Hobart for five years, in order to be able to bear the cost of accompanying the king on his expedition to France.
