Nature of request
John Audley, Lord Audley asks that he might have, by authority of parliament, the wardship and marriage of John Audley, son of his brother Humphrey, and, if he should die under age, of John's sister Jane, in order to recover the 1500 marks which he has paid to the people who would otherwise have been given these lands by the king, to prevent Humphrey's lands being forfeited for his misdeeds.
